MY SEASON OF DIVINE SHINING

DECLARATION (2023)

My light has come! The glory of God is risen upon me, and Ebenezer Assembly. 
I arise from darkness, obscurity, depression, poverty, financial difficulties, hopelessness and fear.
I am the light of the world. The light of life is at work in me.
I walk in love, truth, honesty, obedience, righteousness, wisdom, integrity, service and forgiveness.
I am a city set on a hill. I cannot be hidden anymore. 

In this year, I will follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and make Him known with all my heart, soul and body. 
I declare that harvests of souls are coming to Jesus Christ because of my light, rising, and shining.

In 2023, I prophesy that Ebenezer Assembly and I have broken new territories in Jesus’ name.

STATEMENT OF FAITH AND PRACTICES

  • We believe the bible to be the inspired and infallible word of God (2Tim 3:16-17)
  • We believe in one God, whose power, wisdom, and goodness are infinite. He is the maker and preserver of all things and eternally existent as the father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Col. 1:15-16, 1Jn. 5:7)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His sinless life in the flesh, in His miracle atoning sacrifice through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His bodily ascension to the right hand of the father, in His anointed earthly ministry, in His present day ministry and His personal return in power and glory, (John 1:12; 1John1:9-10, Heb. 4:14-16, John 10:14, Acts 1:9-11)
  • The Holy Spirit proceeding from the father through the Son is one substance and eternal God (John 15:26)
  • We believe that salvation of man is met in the person of Jesus Christ (1John 5:11-13)
  • WATER BAPTISM – (i) Water Baptism is one outward testimony of our salvation (Roman 6:4-5) (ii) Water Baptism is by immersion Acts 8:37-38 (iii) Water Baptism is in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 10:48)
  • We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and in the gifts of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8; 2:4, 1Corinthians 12)
  • We believe that Jesus Christ is our physician (Isaiah 53:4-5)
  • We believe in the anointing with oil, laying on of the hands and prayer of faith for the sick to recover (James 5:14-15)
  • We believe that the true church is the body of believers (1Corinthians 12:13, 1Pt. 1:23)
  • The ordination of the Lord’s Supper. That Jesus instituted the Lord’s Supper and so should be observed (1Corinthians 11:23-32)
  • Tithe and Offerings – The bible clearly teaches believers to tithe (a tenth of gross earnings) their income to the Lord. There are also offerings made unto the cause of expanding the kingdom of God, God always blesses a cheerful giver (Gen. 14:20, Mal. 3:10; 2Cor. 9:6-9, Luke 6:38, Acts 20:35).
  • Holy Matrimony – We recognize customary marriage (Matt 1:18) but for believers we recommend in addition church wedding or blessings (John 2)
  • We believe that child dedication is the presentation of our children to the Lord for protection, guidance, and blessing (1 Samuel 1:28, Luke 2:22)
  • We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ as literal and visible as His first ascension to heaven and to receive unto himself all believers (Act 1:9-11; 1Thess. 4:14-17)
  • We believe in Eternal Heaven and Eternal Hell (Rev. 14:10-11)
